The Captain - 3 Bed/1 Loft Lakeside Cottage!

The house was clean and appears to be pretty new. The pool would have been a blast for your 2 and 4 year old but it rained the whole day we were there. I wish I could give 1/2 stars because I would give this place 4 1/2 stars. This is set up more like a hotel property and we were disappointed by the lack of condiments and coffee creamer. Very minor, I know. We plan to come back and hopefully get good weather.

The homes and pool were beautiful. However there is a water treatment plant nearby that smells at times. The lake is not able to be swam in. So boating and tubing are not possible. But hanging out at the actual house and pool are absolutely wonderful. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby to get food drinks and a solid meal. All of the houses in this development are so beautifully designed and decorated. The house had pretty much everything you need to down a long weekend or even a week. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the loft. However, it is a bit scary climbing the ladder to get into the loft. The manager was beyond helpful and communication was top notch. If the lake was able to be swam in, we would vacation here each summer. To be clear, the house itself is absolutely stunning.
